Facial wrinkles
Cleared in 2024 for facial wrinkles, following its predecessor—the first medical microneedling device with dual FDA clearance.
Clinical evidence for the Exceed platform comes from a study conducted with the predecessor Exceed, in which 48 subjects received four treatments approximately 30 days apart. At the Day 150 assessment, three blinded evaluators reported an improvement of at least one grade in:

Patient selection and treatment areas
In the United States, EXCEED UNLIMITED is cleared for the treatment of wrinkles in adults aged 22 years or older with Fitzpatrick skin types I, II and/or III in the glabellar, periorbital and cheek-fold areas. In the underlying Exceed platform study, no subjects were graded as worsened in these three treatment areas.

Facial acne scars
Cleared in 2024 for improving the appearance of facial acne scars, building on the established Exceed microneedling platform with dual U.S. indications.
For facial acne scars, the Exceed platform was evaluated in a clinical study using the predecessor Exceed. Subjects received four treatments at four-week intervals and were assessed three months after the final treatment, with significant improvement observed irrespective of baseline acne-scar severity.
Patient selection and study design
EXCEED UNLIMITED is FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of facial acne scars in adults aged 22 years or older with Fitzpatrick skin types I, II, III and IV. Fifty-nine percent achieved a one-grade improvement agreed upon by at least two of three blinded physicians.

Penetration-depth accuracy of the Exceed platform was separately evaluated in porcine skin using high-speed-camera testing.
More penetration power at every needle tip
EXCEED concentrates its drive across just 6 precision needles, delivering up to 3.5× higher calculated power per needle than leading medical microneedling devices. The result is stable penetration with less skin displacement and a very low “fakir effect”.
